    Hello Murat,
The double rainbow looks great in the dark blue sky and the brightly sunlit trees and building make a great foreground. It's always cool to see that the sky is lighter within the arch of the rainbow and your photo shows this really well too.

    Hi Chris
    warmer tones indeed.
Too bad about the scaffolding on the left, but what can you do, in a way it adds visual interest. smart set up, the entire frame is basically used up. lots to see in every section. If you look at it funny, it kind of has the sense that its a model on a large table haha

    Hi Abmdsudi
300 mm focal length, you must have been quite the distance away then. Funny how they don't mind being photographed...in much richer nations like in North America, this would be met with a lot of anger - most likely.

The grey hair sticking out is wonderful, as is the eye contact you mentioned. Nice one

    Hi Ian
yes, this is a scene that just HAS to be captured :)
The architecture, the old stone, the Chimneys, the "INN" signage, its got a lot going for it. Rustic charm indeed.
the poor weather conditions gave you lots of atmosphere

    Hi Daniel
it'd be cool to watch the F1 Race! No racing on this day though, everything looks very peaceful and calm out there.
I like the contrasting subjects from the top to the bottom.
Funny how ALL the boats are pointed to the left...I'd point mine to the right just to piss them off hahahaha

    Hi Pierre
I've been to Laval, played hockey tournaments here as a teenager growing up in Ottawa.

This may be one of the most unique churches you've posted, as its so different from all the rest. I like it, the interior looking back outside the glass must be interesting too. love the angular rooflines. cheers

this place looks like my appartment...different shades of blue paint hahaha

again, you got the cloud coverage in the upper bg, thats so important, it adds so much. Too bad there wasn't someone or some old classic Car in the scene, but thats out of your control. Fine light, fine architecture and colours.

    Hi Mariusz
great note, I'll have to remember that if I ever make it to Disney. I guess its the same way with fireworks during any event...you have to get there early and secure your spot.

whats unique about this one, is it looks like the fireworks are out of control haha...spreading and shooting across the scene in such a disorganized manner...but it looks good.

neat shot, well worth posting and the effort.
    cheers

beautiful! this is one subject that I'd love to see in person and plan to visit before hand. Hi Rob
First off, I think you will appreciate my newest post :)
Or at least I hope you do.

I have to say, I don't think i've ever seen graffiti on a lamp post before! Thats a creative way to use space. but from an artistic point of view it'd be hard for the artist to show their material.

this concrete block is much better, from a visual point of view anyways. unique and eye catching for TE, I like it

well, with some care and attention to it, it has certainly lasted the length of time from 1742. Looks great, a combination of stone on the front gives it so much character.
love the clouds and hint of blue sky to make the scene pop.

    Hi Angel
another shot with a blown out white sky, but that really doesn't seem to matter much does it. It still looks very attractive. I wonder how this would look in black and white as well. We don't have any such architecture like this here in Canada, so for me its quite unusual and photogenic. Impressive steep rooflines too. nice shot. cheers

nothing wrong with showing life in ruins, this is perfect in my opinion. There are many forms of architecture, why not show the ruined ones as well. love the rough exterior, the crusted walls, the delapitated window shutters. awesome
