Shooting Family Portrait... Need help plz.

Hello all,

My friend asked me to take some portraits in black and white of her sisters family(mom dad and two kids) I dont usually do portraits but i thought id give it a shot.

Can u please give me tips and ideas of what to do. Im have a Canon 30D and have a 50mm lens, a 17-85mm and 18-55. Which lens would be best?

All info is greatly appreciated..

Thanx
Zein

Ha! Wassim, there's not much you can answer to a question like that. You already know, I presume, that you have good equipment. You could take first-rate b/w portraits with any one of those lenses, if you have the inspiration. Think how you would like the pictures to be, and make them that way. Go and try it...

Good luck!
