Of course, the sensor is much smaller than the one of a digital SLR and much...

On the...

PS: meanwhile, there are some...

To sleeplessjojo: Original colours

I didn't intentionally play with the colours (didn't use a filter and the colours are the same on the slide), but of course, Fuji Velvia is known for its saturation...

Re: To laurenz: Nested moon

Hi,

personally, I use Minolta Scan Dimage Dual IV which produces remarkably good scans for a relatively small price.
More expensive, but also better according to the specification and test...

Re: Trek Earth Lite... -> the TrekX group

It sure would be nice if there were public groups, the same way as there are private and public themes.

For the benefit of those who, like me, use Paintshop Pro, - it's even easier to add borders in this program.

Luxor part of Aswan?

I was interested to see that Aswan was the featured destination, but could not believe my eyes when I saw a photo of a colossus of Memnon under this heading.
A cruise on the Nile between the two...

To jurgen: Machu Picchu Sunrise

It must have been around 6 am - basically, I just got up in time to catch the very first bus from Aguas Calentes (Machu Picchu Village) to the ruins.
The only alternative would be to stay at the...

by the way - if the three sites are ment to be for different purposes, wouldn't it make sense to reflect this in their structure?
For example, when you click on "gallery" in TL, wouldn't it make...

I also think that it would help to distinguish the 3 sites.
But why do people post here instead of TL or TN?
Looking at the Alexa ratings for the sites, I see that TE gets much more traffic than...

Re: Machu Picchu spellings

This reflects the variety of spellings you encounter in Peru.
Especially the old Inca places come under many different names, for example: Sacsayhuamán, Saqsayhuamán, Saqsaywamán, Sacsaywamán...

Re: Alternatives to Cokin P filters

I heard quite a few positive comments about Lee filters, which seem to use a similar adpator/holder system as Cokin and are said to be more neutral.
I've not come across them in any German photo...

Re: Sohrab (or any other TEr interested), I need your help..
