Default Workshops disappearing

I recently worked really hard on my workshops in order to change the ugly grey box around my golden star in a beautiful golden box. I got so carried away that I got my number of "useful" workshops up to 62.

But now, the number has shrunk down to 57! I have lost 5 workshop points! My box is in danger of going grey again! Why is this happening? What can I do to stop it, short of doing some more workshops??

Help!

Hi
I had the same, it was caused by a member deleting some of their photos (and my workshops went with them).

Regards, Tim.

Looks like a photo you have workshopped has been removed by either its author or the administrator.
When a photo is removed, all critiques, comments and workshops attached to it are deleted as well.

Don't forget that when a user is removed all their images go as well, and that users can request removal as well as being deleted by Adam for breaking the rules.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do to safeguard your gold is to do some more Workshops, ahh well ;)

Lets not forget, that as nice as it is to have 'gold'- the workshops are there to help people learn- and think of all the practice your getting! hahaha...

Cheers,
- Dan

I guessed that was the reason. I notice that when photos are deleted, points seem to stay (there are several people who have deleted all their photos but still are showing lots of points), so I think we should keep our workshop points even when the original photo gets deleted.

Of course, points aside, I have gained lots of practice doing workshops on other people's shots, guess I will have to do some more...

Adam??

Point are deleted along with the picture. The total amount of point is updated every 24 hours.

I know you wrote " I give up..."... but what was the final answer?

Are Useful WSs reduced when people remove photos with on eof your WSs?

I'm curious to know... ;)
