Great macjake 2019-02-21 5:54

Hi Gert
Personally, this is the type of shot I love. a bit of architecture, a bit of landscape, and a bit of 'people', all put together to form an interesting scene/visual. the lighting in the sky isn't very good but the lighting in the fg is fantastic. excellent placement of the Stupa as well off to the left 1/3. Surprisingly the flags aren't flowing too much, you'd think up here the wind would be howling like crazy. excellent shot/scene. PS - I have an announcement. Joanne and I are engaged (as you know), but we are also pregnant! She is due Aug 20th, I will be a daddy for the first time!!!! Exciting times :)
cheers
Craig

Default To macjake: cheers

That's great news Craig,
My sincere congratulations. I am so pleased to hear you are both pregnant.
Starting August 20 you will spend your time taking photos that can't be posted on TE. You will of course also have to reschedule your next few planned trips around the world, but who cares...? Being a daddy is so much more important than taking drone photos in the Himalayas, or whatever you had considered.
Cheers,
Gert
PS Thanks for your comments on this photo. I agree about the sky. i don't like it at all, but I couldn't crop it.
