Great Royaldevon 2019-02-23 2:18

Hello Jorge,

I suppose the cows are creatures of habit and being a herd animal, will naturally follow the 'leader'.
In many ways, cows are the preservers of the landscape. Were it not for them walking, grazing, the land would quickly revert to woodland.

It's a lovely, tranquil scene, showing details of your landscape and the way it is farmed.
There appear to be some calves in evidence, too.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: woodland and pastures

bev

here wild forest is so strong that if you don't remove the new born trees in a pasture it becomes woodland fast because cattle can't eat many of the wild trees and they become in big trees in few years, even with cattle inside.

take care

jorge
