I have been stumped by this one feature in PS. I have PS v-7. I haven't been been able to find that particular command - Neat image. I looked everywhere. Is it a plug-in that I have to put from somewhere?
Someone please help... I really need to polish up my images to look smooth instead of grainy. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Anu |

You need to copy the neatimage plugin (neatimage.8bf) into the photoshop plugin directory. Restart photoshop and you'll find neatimage in the filter menu and then the submenu ABSoft.
Also read the "HowToInstallPlugin.txt" that you will find in the neatimage directory. One important thing, the Neatimage plugin for PS is only available for the payware version of Neatimage not the freeware version. |

Thank you for your prompt reply Romain.
Could you please tell me where I can find such a plug-in? And just to confirm the name, is it neatimage.bbf ??? Thank you again. Anu |

The plugin comes with the neatimage software (the payware version), you'll find it in the directory where you've installed Neatimage. The file is neatimage.8bf .

To be honest I haven't checked the latest verion of NeatImage for more than a year. So maybe now the plugin is available with the free version. When I bought my version, it wasn't. ;-)

YES!!! I got it.
Thank you so much for showing me the way. I tried it on my latest upload. And it worked like a charm. Do check it out when you get a chance. It is the interior of the St. Ignazio Cathedral in Rome. Thank you again, Anu |
