Great graffer 2010-09-21 4:17

Hello Finlay,

This is a very well composed picture. For the most part it divides horizontally into thirds: sky, sea and land.

The line of benches makes a fine lead in from the bottom left hand corner, then the eye is led onwards along the coastline towards the horizon.

The tree at the left is a strong anchor for the composition, and I like the hazy soft colours.

Although the horizon is vague, it seems to me that there is a bit of a clockwise tilt which makes the sea seem to run away to the right hand side.

I'd like to do a WS to correct this and also to show how an adjustment of levels might increase the impact of the image.

Kind regards,

Peter.

Default To graffer: thanks

Peter

Thanks for the workshop that you have done on this. You are right this does give the shot more impact. Another postprocessing technique that I will try out.

Thanks again
Finlay
