Great PaulVDV 2019-02-02 23:20

Hello Gert,
I often mistake between Shey and Thiksey but I know for sure that I've visited this monastery. I also remember the view from on the top.
I especially like the picture in the WS taken from a different angle and with some stupas included. It gives a stronger sense of desolation.
It looks like the skies ware more clouded in September than in July. I do remember blue skies in Ladakh.
Looking at your main picture of the monastery and the houses on the slope, it looks so impressive.
Now I know again why at the time I chose Ladakh as my first Indian destination :)
Best regards, Paul

Default To PaulVDV: Thank you Paul

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your many kind comments today. It seems you have been too busy lately to show us the photos from your own latest journey. You know i was looking forward to see them. I regret that you don't seem to regard your photos from Ladakh as good enough to be posted here. Maybe you will let yourself be "inspired" like Malgo and change your mind.
Best regards,
Gert

Default Time ...

Hi Gert,

It's also a question of time.
If I go back to my old pictures, I will not get out of the house anymore.

I do have the feeling 'That was then, this is now.' But the 'time' factor is still the most decisive.
First I want to work on my new photos.
Finally, I never took notes like you. Honestly, I would not be able to give much information at the pictures.

Best wishes,
Paul
