a very sad story behind an even more sad photo. Without the red shirt and the orange trousers it would have been a ruther dull impression. Thank you for contributing to the never ending story of destruction.

Hi Francisco,
It looks quite strange with just the facade left. Blue wall and brown shades catch attention. I wonder if this would be better off-centre. Not the most obvious photo subject. But I think documenting changing environment is very valuable after years go by. I should do more of that too, there's a lot of construction going on at my suburb.

Today is the throw-away society after all. There are architectural contrasts all over this image from the rubble to the new building on the left. Good documentary image

Voltaste a Cabo Verde , sem duvida as casas abandonadas devem ser destruídas ou restauradas para serem vendidas ou alugadas , tal como no centro de Lisboa alugarem as casas de baixo custo para a população voltar para o centro, dar vida a cidade , parabéns!!!

È uma pena porque estas casinhas coloridas são bem bonitas, parece que não é só cá que se cometem erros destes. Gosto da composição, a velha casinha está muito bem colocada e com os três rapazes a passar ficou perfeito.As cores também estão muito boas.

Hi Francisco, you are completely right. Look at the simple beauty of the blue house (though it needs restoration), and the ugliness of those at the background. As you have rightfully mentioned in your previous photo, destroying is easier than restoring unfortunately. But the result is there.
