TE friends,in the same way as yesterday,this photo is the original of my second photo in TE,about Rwanda genocide and what I saw those days in July 1994 in the region of Goma.
Too much information have been post in the world press about this subject... excessively to be forgotten.

Nem sei o que é mais triste nesta imagem, a mãe ou o bebé. Adivinha-se uma mágoa profunda na face daquela jovem mulher.

Também é preciso coragem para tirar estas fotos. Creio que a maior parte de nós não conseguiria. As panorâmicas dos campos talvez, mas estas de perto não.

Jose,
this is not the first time that I look into your collection of shots and the feeling that gets me is again the same. Sadness, depression ... I really don't know how to formulate it. Just as no one can formulate the attrocities that were committed in Rwanda, Congo, Europe and som many other places were genocide was used as a "solution" of racial problems. Your shots are in a single category here at TE. While everyone else tries to show us the beauty of the blue planet, you show us the very dark sides. Certainly not something uplifitng, but part of our daily life and quite necessary to be shown, told, reminded ... Keep on going!

Reality is always the right leader in our life! You did your best, you transferred here your feelings about the life on our planet, our common home! I see indubitable impartiality into your word.
