Hello dear friends

For a long time I've being away from TE.
Now I'm back with the same theme:Rwanda genocide.
This scanned photo from the refugee field of Kibumba,in our dispensary, shows a recent arrived family to the possible health care.

Another testimonial of those terrific days.

I can't forget this other side of our wonderful world.

you must always remember there are dark sides in our world.
TE purpose is to know the world through photos....your dramatic and striking picture fullfills this goal...although it would be much easier turning the head on the opposite way than looking at.

thanks for sharing
Silvio

PS: I also post as milestones (150-200-250-300th image) some particular pictures to have people stop and think about.

Ola Jose Diogo
Looking at this photo I feel sorrow and anger, it's terrible, no words to describe this...

Hello Jose,
This is a very strong testimony, hardly difficult to look at.
It is awful, there are no words to describe human foolish.
Thank you for sharing your humanitary experience with us and take care.
Marianne

Hello Jose - I've been away from TE as well and checking through my favorites always helps bring me up to speed. Such a dark, strong image. I'm currently reading a book called A Sunday at the pool in Kigali,by Gil Courtemanche. It's taking me much longer to read than a normal book as it's set during the Rwandan genocide. The events that took place cannot be so easily digested. It requires time, and then it sits in your esophagus creating indigestion.

Hope you are well. Kind Rgds, Leilani

And you do an appreciated work reminding us there are other realities far from landscapes and so on... What a sad photo, what a testimoy. I fell like speachless.

Para não esquecer.
Obrigado.
Um abraço,

It's hard to believe this is real- yet the photo is so dramatic and poignant I do believe unfortunately. Very compassionate post.
