Photographer’s Note

This is in Al-Quasr village, Egypt, more-or-less in the middle of the country, in a big oasis. Besides the abandoned medieval mud-brick town this pottery workshop was a huge attraction for us.

A very good composition, both interesting and fine. The pottery and the walls create a nice graphic effect and the blue cart is an eye catcher. I like the intense saturated colours both of the sky and houses.
As TE is a site to learn about the word it would have been interesting to know some info about this place in the note.
