Please see posted a shot taken during a boat trip on the Nile. The shot is composed of a felucca and of the Agha Khan's Mausoleum. The felucca is a traditional wooden sailing boat used in protected waters of the Red Sea and eastern Mediterranean including Malta, and particularly along the Nile in Egypt and are still in active use, as a means of transport, in Nile-adjacent cities like Aswan or Luxor.
The building on the right side is The Agha Khan's Mausoleum, located near the Monastery of St. Simeons on the west bank at Aswan. It is an elegant pink granite structure of late 1950 origin. This is the Mausoleum of the spiritual leader of the Ismailis, a Shiite sect formed in 1094, based principally in India but with followers around the world. Agha Khan combines the Turkish military title Agha with the Turkish, Mongolian and Persian/Pashto polyvalent title Khan, so it means "Commanding Chief".
