The picture was taken in the south-west part of Lybia and precisely in the region of Uan Kaza, a string of dunes stretching between the Akakus and the plateau of Messak Settafet. Entering the heart of the area a surprising scene of sandy slopes, winding passages, steep descents, half-moon-shaped and pyramid-shaped dunes can be admired. Sometimes small valleys appear partially covered by a white carpet of gypsum like this one.
I really don t know how the driver found this place because we were in the middle of a sand storm and sitting in the vehicle it was almost impossible to see something.

A great picture from a place I still have to see. I like the marks from the tyres in the foreground, I like the colors, and I like the perspective.

Hello Szili,
Nice perspective on this sand... Good composition and very nice colors but I would like that the sky contrast more with the desert.

Stéphanie.

Hi Szili
A truly beautiful scene.
I love the colours and the lighting is just perfect.
It is amazing how the sand combines with the sky to give the appearance of a haze filled valley over the edge of the dunes.
Great photo

Good composition with unforgetable colours. Looks like you could get stuck in this soft sand if you lost concentration for a second. Good capture showing a far away place. Thanks.

Hi Attila, and I thought it was a mirage! (maybe it is), great the track leading us to the lake, we can imagine the route of the jeep before getting there. Well done! Daniel

Hi Szili. I really like this one, especially the colour of the desert and the lines leading from the corner into the image. Nicely composed with that person way out right in just the right spot.

Another masterful capture image of the desert. You have a very special way to capture it and present it. Love the way the tracks add to the sense of perspective. Superb job, my friend!

Hello Attila
Wow, an amazing place in the dessert. Although tired wanderers would prefer a lake filled with the water, but I like this gypsum on the sand. Nice capture with the tracks of the car.

Hi Atilla,
the sand colour is lovely...somehow your image creates a feeling of the car being broken down...like this 4WD has just slid down the dune and it's awaitng its fate: to be covered by the sand forever...who knows how many such cars are under this sand already;-)...cheers, arturo

Attila,
Amazing the colors of your shots from Lybia. In my opinion you have enough pics to place a Travelogue, friend.
God work.
