The shot was taken in the fascinating south-west region of Libya, called Acacus.

The title fits so well with this nice graphical and pattern effective landscape. It's incredible this so repetive red colored land or sand I suppose. Excelent point of view with a high horizon, giving great depth to this fantastic view and scenery. Good work, colors, light and fine sharpness.

Szia Attila! Micsoda gyonyoru kep! Csodaszep kompozicio, tetszik, hogy dominal az oriasi sivatag az eloterben, fittyet hanyva az 1/3 torvenynek...ez adja szerintem az erejet--es a szinek egyszeruen dobbenetesek...

En is magyar vagyok, de Ottawaban elek, es Budapesten szulettem, a szuleim, csaladom ott el.

this one seems like an excellent view that you have captured in this photo.
I love the texture of the sand in the foreground and the colours of the sand makes this a very impressive capture. I also like the way you have included very minimal sky in this photo
your focus is good but I would have liked to take this shot with a smaller aperture in order to get a bigger DOF

il deserto mi manca, non ci sono mai stato, tranne in quello pietroso dell'Egitto, ma niente di paragonabile a quello Libico!
patterns a colori sono realmente stupendi, come anche il perfetto POV e l'ottimo taglio per escludere un cielo non particolarmente bello.

I like to give two points to make 100. This amount of qritiques atached to a single picture says something about the quality of the shot. The one above is a great image with an unusual texture in the foreground, the scennery of a desert and amazing colour of the sand - definitely worth more than 50 smiles.

Sand photos always have a great graphical effect and this one is no exception! I love the textures and colors of your image. Also I like that the line on the sand leads our eyes to the foreground where we can see those hills, which helps to 'break' the texture formed by the sand.
