Photographer’s Note

At the end of the great beach of Casablanca… a place very attended by the inhabitants of the area who find themselves on the beach, just at the opposite of this small island which is accessible at low tide. Some steps lead to these white houses and also to the tomb of the famous marabout Sidi Abderrahme.

Une atmospehre vraiment toute speciale sur cette photo avec la population qui vaque a ses occupations sur la plage. On est bien loin de la cote d'azur et du tourisme de masse. tres plaisant.

Typical mediterranean confusion! But in this case very pictoresque and extremely photogenic. Your pov and composition give a strong sense of presence, of being there to observe this scene, probably due to the fine light and excellent sharpness. A very ood work.

Hello Jean,
Very interesting scene, I love it, it's a beach scene, but everyone is very well dressed, not even topless men, escept maybe one boy playing with the sand. the tomb seems to be out of place, but that is what make this shot interesting. I really like it, It looks like one have to walk in the water to go to the tomb. it can use a little bit more contrast, but Excellent shot overall.

Bonjour Jean.
C'est un tableau de la vie quotidienne qui se déroule au premier plan avec les parasols, les enfants qui jouent au sable, les adultes en discussion... Le tombeau du marabout semble au milieu des habitations.
J'aime beaucoup !

j'y étais a casablanca mais la plage n'était pas aussi fréquenté que toi, une photo trés colorée et animée avec le tombeauen arrière plan image bien composée

Bonsoir Jean,

La présence des personnes a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. La prise de vue permet de distinguer les détails et les couleurs de la tombe du marabout Sidi Abdrrahme. Elle dirige aussi notre regard vers l'horizon ce qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. Le ciel envoie un éclairage qui rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

I like it.

The traditional desert landscape with so much crowd activity in front of the tomb and your shot has been able to show a superb POV in such well framed crop to include so much detail to see.

Very interesting and the more I see and learn about Morocco, the more I wish to be there!

L'ambiance générale est parfaitement restituée à travers cette composition. Un metteur en scène n'aurait pas fait mieux ! tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour présenter une excellente prise de vue (sujet, cadrage, etc.).
A propos, une petite digression, j'ai remarqué que c'est ta 666ème publication :
Le symbole 666 aurait été créé par les premiers chrétiens persécutés par Néron, qui l'identifièrent au Diable à partir d'une association de chaque lettre de l'alphabet, un multiple de 9 dans l'ordre numérique.
C'est ainsi qu'en additionnant les nombres multiples de neuf associés aux lettres du mot ''Lucifer'' on obtient 666.
Voilà, un petit clin d'oeil en passant. ;o)

Une photo pleine de vie, d'animation, de couleurs. Tous ces détails variés et bien captés à l'avant-paln ne géneent en rien la vue sur le tombeau légéèrement surélevé. Bien vu, bien pensé comme composition.

sans ce tombeau et les petites maisons qui l'entourent,ce rocher ne serait qu'un vulgaire rocher,mais là,il est devenu vraiment beau et plein de charme!Les personages sur la plage donnent de la vie à la photo,mais aussi de belles couleurs,et ils permettent de se rendre compte de la taille de cet îlot!Superbe!

Même à marée haute les bateau ne doivent pas se risquer dans les parages quand on voit ces jolis rochers !!! Endroit de pélerinage apparemment à voir la foule qui s'active autour de cet ilôt. Une belle composition tant dans les couleurs naturelles que dans les lumières et pleine de détails intéressants. Merci Jean.

quelles sont tes lieux de vacances?
la Roumanie te dirait en juillet?
