Photographer’s Note

On a Saturday morning strolling on the beach...there must have been at least 10 different games of football all going on, people collecting things from the rock pools as the tide has gone out and beachside cafes slowly filling up for morning coffee and breakfast. El Jadidia is so laid back and a easy place to relax in.
Here just a scene from the beach with some football players. I am not too sure what that building is in the background but it lies next to the long promenade running next to the beach.

these are sure some different shot of a very photographed place and its good to see this magnificent country from your perspective and pov. I like your use of colorus and saturateion and the way you have balanced this shot wanda

Hoi Wanda,
Lijkt helemaal niet eens op Marokko, wat leuk dat je dit zo hebt gevonden. De fietser en de kindren geven extra kleur en maken de foto levendig, maar ook het mooie gebouw steekt goed af tegen de blauwe lucht...prima foto.

Who said that centred compos are boring? Here we have a wonderful exception to that rule!

You captured very nicely the relaxed atmosphere of the early morning on that beach.

I agree with you about El Jadida being a place that invites relaxation. One of the reasons that I wanted to visit it again was to check if I would have the same impression in my second visit and that happened. I like very much that mix of old time "laid back cosmopolitanism" that makes me think that life didn't change that much since the times that French left, while it is still much Moroccan. I guess that the fact of being much off of the beaten paths for foreigners while being a resort for Morocans and the absence of "must see places" apart from the Portuguese Citadel contributes much to a sort of genuineness that makes it very charming. I can feel all of that in this photo.
