Photographer’s Note
In El Jadida I noticed that the small fishing boats like these were painted red as opposed to the famous blue boats of Essaouira the coastal town further down from El Jadida.
Taken from the top of the old fortification walls of the Portuguese city.

Hi Wanda,
your POV is what makes this shot outstanding, great bird eye perspective, all the boats look so nice and your framing is tight, but works very well. That human element is the icing on the cake, great work Wanda, many thanks for sharing!
Take care

Hi Wanda,
what a perfect POV for this theme..an eyecatcher..
Although I like more the horizontal format (because it´s similar to the natural look of the eyes) the vertical format works excellent here.
Compliments, Chris

Hi Wanda,
very good composition.
The colour is predominantly grey, why dont you try black and white?

Hoi Wanda,
Dit is een hele mooie. Zeer origineel, strak in het kader en dit alles tesamen maakt eht een mooie foto in compositie en standpunt. De man in het laatste bootje geeft nog net even dat beetje exttra...heel mooi.

Hello Wanda!
Superb composition in this sharp photograph! I can see many details all around (in the boats, on the water surface)! The vertical format was the best choice to show such beauty! I really like it! An excellent image!
TFS - Congratulations!

Hello Wanda,
Great pov, positioning the man all the way at the bottom of the shot and lovely, sober colours. Nice work.

Hi Wanda, Without the man this would have been a good shot, but he really makes it work. As others have said the original POV makes it intersting. I wonder if a slight rotation of your camera, to take the diagonal formed by boats right into the corners would have been better still? cheers, Steve

Hi Wanda,
strong view with four boats, only one with a man. I like the strong light differences and contrasts in that mnore grey dominated colour capture and the good framing.

Hi Wanda,
This one reminds me of some other boat shots you have done, like Take It Easy and Snacks...
I think the composition looks great, with good light that creates shadows under the boat and help them pop-up with dimension. I also like where the man is place at the bottom of your frame. You were p`retty near to obtain a good diagonal, but maybe you were not able to move slightly to the right to achieve this composition.
I like it anyway.
See you soon soul sister.
Wandre
P.S. You are back with your intro pic I like the most...

Hi Wanda
looks like we're pretty much on the same tracks: morocco, india ... and that you're nuts on India as much as i am !!
I'm just back from Gujarat (did you see my theme on salt in this state) and I'm afraid that I'll be again in Pushkar for the next Mela. maybe i'll see you there !
In any case this one from Morocco is simply superb in its compo! bravo
(your last post of this man who looks like he's lost his skin pigmentation is too strong for me !)
have a nice sunday
Cheers
patrick
