This is the main alley of the Souk of Rissani - a city far in Eastern Morocco. Once it was the center of the Sijilmasa kingdom. This market was famous in the times, when all the trade from Sub-Saharan Africa was passing through Rissani and Marakesh.
Time has changed, but the market is still going on. The carpet sellers, the donkey transportated goods, shouting, smells and fragrances, music, people...it is all there. |
