Photographer's Note

This is one of the largest amphitheatres of the ancient world in El Jem, built by the Roman in the 3rd century is a world heritage site and for good reason. The place is awe-inspiring so much more than I was expecting and it's in surprisingly intact in good condition.

There is history and an atmosphere to the place in every corner of it, it's so surreal and beautiful walking around and seeing the glorious views as well as rooms where gladiators once stood! Taken on an overcast morning.
