Hello Goldy. I am sure glad to see your post here in TE. I hope its not to late to welcome you to this community. There are many friendly people as we used to see in TN are here as well.

Hi Goldy, I'm not here much, but noticed that you'd put a photo up here.
The land on the other side of the water looks crooked so I have done you a workshop. It leans to the left.
So I have evened it up, then I used Highlights and Shadows in CS2 to slightly brighten the image up. I hope you like it.

Hello Goldy
Welcome to TE firstly. I have travelled on this kind of boat down the Amazon (it was slightly longer though). Like the puffy clouds you have captured along with the distant mountains with the exposure being good. You will learn as you progress as I am still doing (ie straight horizons, what colours you like in your images etc).

And you did well, Goldy. I like strong contrasts but the other was too exhagerated. Now I can see some details in the boat and distant trees. Strangely, I don't see any person on that boat and it doesn't seem parked either...
