Fushimi Inari Shrine is the most famous of several thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari across Japan. Inari is the Shinto god of rice, and foxes are thought to be his messengers. Therefore, many fox statues can be found at Inari shrines.
Fushimi Inari Shrine is also famous for the more than 5000 torii gates, offerings by worshippers, that cover the hiking trails of Inarisan, the wooded mountain behind the shrine's main buildings. It takes about two hours to walk along the whole trail.

Attila-san kon nichi wa,
Fushimi Inari remains one of the top favorites of my trip to Japan, not too easy for photo as there are extreme contrasts when the sun makes it through the trees, you managed here to get nice glow on the red torii, after seeing a place like this you can just run to the next camera shop and buy a canon ;-) The human presence is discrete but welcome.
Have a nice day JY

Szia Attila,

Hallo Attila!
You caught a somehow mystic atmosphere here - mainly caused by the contrast between the a bit dark scenery and these red gates and the few sunlit parts. For European eyes a truly peculiar scenery. This really must be a very special place ...
Greetings from autumnal Germany!

Hi Attila,
the red pops out like a flashlight. An eyecatcher,

Szia Attila,
Red looks better in green, sunlight through the trees emphasizes red further. You have made up difficult subject to a photo impressive by the good use of a pair of guardian dogs. I also like remarkable natural sharpness.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

The quality maybe not the best and i know its abit difficult to cap picture with minimum lighting like this but i think this shrine is very interesting especially the red-wooden pale in everywhere... still a nice one Attila-san, thanks :-)

Hi Attila,
A very good photo of this place and the gate really stands out very nicely against the dark background. I find the light really well managed here, which also helps to create a nice mood. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Attila,
You have chosen an excellent setting to create a very strong and elegant chromatic effect, in a composition in which the vivid red and orange tones are outlined on such a green vegetation.
The result is very attractive, and the photo is magnificent.
A nice work, my friend.
Best regards,
Josep

hi Attila
nice contrast with the red, a new POV for me, i didn't see so much of this place
your concise note informe me that it is a big monument, two hours, that surprised me
indeed the human presence is welcomed in the composition

Ciao Attila,
una bella foto insolita, almeno per noi europei che non siamo abituati a vedere questo tipo di architettura. Curiose le due statue delle volpi, piacevolmente addobbate con il tessuto rosso. Bella foto, tipicamente orientale.
Ciao e buona settimana

Hello Attila,
Red torii is really eye catching in harsh green and red portico's with visitors are adding great dynamism there. Your skillful experience captured a wonderful scene under difficult light condition created by trees. Marvellous sharpness and clarity in natural colors as usual every time. Congratulations. Have a nice new week.
Friendly Regards,
Ertugrul

Szia Attila!

hello Attila,
you did well here to control the light on this photo and the result is very pleasant.
The red glows on a very interesting way contrasting with the rest of the scene.
The two persons passing by brings the needed life to this scene.
Cheers.

Szia Attila!
Nagyon szép békés hangulatú kép! A piros toriik nagyszerűen ugranak elő a sötét erdőből, bár szerintem ez a sötétség egy kicsit túl sok. Tetszik, ahogy azt a párt is belekomponáltad a képbe!
Üdv,
Marci
