Photographer’s Note

Lake Baikal is over on the left, just off frame. I liked the diagonal slope of the hill here, & the expansive view of the snowcapped peaks, on the horizon, even though this was taken mid summer. The fishing village of Baikalskoe, is on the north western shore, of this massive, banana shaped lake.

Hello Chris,

A superb landscape with an incredible depht and a good balalnce in the composition. Beautiful colors and contrasts well collected under a nice and impressive sky. The village is well locatd in its environnmenet.

A fine and expansive landscape composition. The cloudy sky and dark toned mountains contribute much to the mood. Very good colours and sharpness.

The point of view leads my eyes through the valley toward the mountains which is giving depth to the composition. The intensity of the light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. have a nice day.
