Photographer's Note

Some of the 80 plus stone pagodas at Tapsa Buddhist Temple near Jinan & located between the saddle of the twin peaked Maisan or Horse Ears Mt. I may go back here in Fall for a morning shot when the lighting is better. This was taken late afternoon & the backlight was a little intense.

I should probably add that the sign in Korean, English, & Japanese, (Don't touch it!) probably refers to the fact that these pagodas were constructed without any cement, with the rocks dove-tailed into each other, (as in Cuzco, Peru), & have withstood storms, wars & typhoons. But they are no match for tourists & small children, who wish to climb up them or push them, to see how sturdy they really are.
