This was taken in a temple in Lop Buri province about 3 hours north of Bangkok. The crockodile looks very humourous, however he is there for a very serious reason. The temple is built on a mountain side infested with bold monkeys. They are scared away by the crock and dare not enter the temple or interfere with the buddah images.
An ingenious solution to this problem. |
