Reaching the Top Photo

Photographer’s Note

After an early start at 1.00 am and a steep climb of 5 hours, here is a view from the top of Merapi, the famous volcano near Yogyakarta.

The small light in the middle comes from the reflection of the sun in a lake below the clouds.

I reposted this photo because the previous photo was in Adobe rgb so colours looked faded.

I also added a frame.

Le lever de soleil depuis un sommet, et particulièrement depuis un volcan est toujours un moment fort, bien rendu par ce tableau.
Garder le soleil dans le champ de la photo est un choix courageux ; pour ma part, je préfèrerais la coupure un peu au-dessus de l'horizon.

Bonsoir Julien,

Une nouvelle belle photo du continent qui m'attire le plus. Après la Thaïlande, l'Indonésie...
J'aime particulièrement les couleurs et l'atmosphère qui se dégage de cette photo-ci. C'est superbe, de très belle qualité et joliment encadré. Seule ombre au tableau et je devrais dire "seule lumière" est le point lumineux qu'on voit au centre de la photo. Mais bon, c'est un détail, je chipote un peu.
Accroche-toi, les débuts sur TE sont toujours difficiles mais tes photos ont assurément leur place sur ce site !
