Photographer’s Note

First morning at sea heading south-east from Miami toward our first stop in Samana, Dominican Rep. on a 9 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean. The closest land would probably have been Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas to the south-west of our position. This golden sun and balmy ocean air were really melting my frost-bitten Montreal soul. Our first time in the open ocean, and we took to it like fish to water.

capturing part of the vessel adds character to the snap, differentiates the photo from rest of the sunset and sunrise ones. does convery a mood.
