Taken from a small airplane during the flight from Belize City to Ambergris Caye.
Ambergris is the largest of several hundred islands located in the northern waters of Belize. This narrow strip of land surrounded by the Caribbean sea, is approximately 36 miles long. East of the caye lies the Belize Barrier Reef which continues some 190 miles along the length of the country of Belize.

Lovely contrast between what seems to be the purest of blissful texture and a sudden hard shape and its trail.
It might be stronger if you darkened the image just slightly to get a deeper turquoise :)
Considering the circumstances of the shot (from the plane!) this is quite a brilliant capture! If I were to become picky I'd say that the boat could be a little bit further to the right/top... but that's just taking it to extremes :D

Hi Attila,
What great composition done just by two elements, the boat and the sea. This aerial view allows us to appreciate with great clarity the cleaning of this water of the Caribbean, that with its transparency it shows with detail its sprinkled sandy rock bottoms to us.
The boat with its wake draws a small diagonal in the set, breaking with elegance his monotony.
Excellent.

La qualità dello scan è sufficiente, ma lasciando libera l'immaginazione la vista dall'aereoplano deve essere stata meravigliosa, complimenti, ottima la scelta di porre la barca nel 3/4 alto della foto.

I like this much more than the WS because of the more natural colours! Besides this it's no need of more to get an interesting and eye-catching picture. I like it!

Excellent compo with just two elements, the boat and the sea. This view allows us to appreciate with great clarity of the Caribbean waters, with the bed so clearly visible
The water mark left by the boat breaks the green of the water.

i colori del mare di Ambergris sono fantatici come anche la scia del motoscafo.

Almost a water painting with soft colour and lovely composition. The speedboat with the with foam after the boat make the picture very attractive. Very nice done for a scanning image!

Hi Attila,
What a magnificent abstract result that you got in here. The view is great and what gives a special meaning to this image is that boat, passing by. Lately, I've been inclined to images with less contrast, but in here, as it has a strong artistic result, I think I prefer the one in WS. Good work for that and excellent shot from the air. I love it!

Lucky guy to have been to belize !! I would have loved to go there but stopped at tulum (mexico), second largest coral reef in the world after australia, so famous reputation cause still "virgin" ... This aerial picture is awesome !!!

Ciao Attila!
nel thumbnail sembrava come una mia foto non riuscita ... sai cosa ho fatto (questa e' l'ultima critica per oggi e ho tanto tempo ancora a disposizione...) ... un tardi pomeriggio fotografavo le barche dei pescatori in "azione". Ero sopra (10-15mt sopra il mare), sul cliff, con la macchina attacata al trepiedi. Sentivo un brutto suono: "GAAAAA GAAAAA" tipo anatra ma ancora piu' forte, ma non prestavo attenzione... Ancora sto "GAAAA GAAAA" e ho guardato che cos'e... cavoli! Erano due cigni, che nuotavano proprio sotto di me... punto la camera su di loro e KLLLIIIIIIKKKKK. Tre secondi di esposizione, perche ero su f/11 in ISO 100 ... e i cigni... nessun segno sulla foto, solo una riga bianca... e come sono veloci, prima che ho staccato la camera dal trepiedi per poterli correre indietro erano gia' lontano!
Ma torniamo sulla tua foto, tu hai avuto piu' fortuna, la riga bianca e solo la scia della barchetta sul bellissimo mare color smeraldo ;))
