Bouillon is a small town on a bend in the Semois river in the south of Belgium, close to the French border. Its main claim to fame is Godefroy of Bouillon (Godfried van Bouillon). This knight was one of the leaders of the very first crusade. He died in Jersulem in the year 1100.
My personal favourite place in the old Hotel de la Poste, for its connection with Cyriel Buysse. The Flemish naturalist writer was one Belgium's first car owners and he stayed there in 1910 on his way to go touring in France.
This picture shows the view from the castle keep down to the river Semois and the interior court of the castle. The actual town of Bouillon is on the other side, you can't see it from this pov.

Despite of the quite poor light , the view is superb . Almost a 3D effect , for this old stoned building in the FG . An excellent composition from this high POV , with the fortress , the river , the bridge .

What a vantage point you had to capture some of the defining properties of Luxemburg — castles, bridges, and steep slopes through which the rivers flow. I like your note. The old Hotel de la Poste is on my list, thank you.

You had a fine vantage point, looking down on the ancient buildings and defining their relationship with the river.
The fine, stone building (part of the castle) hogs the f/g but then, I like how the river guides us gently to the arched bridge and onwards, into the forest.
Have a lovely day,

This does give the vertigo height effect and impressive vantage with breath taking view full of well seen highlights on a hazy day. The person on the bottom of frame makes you engage with the picture better! Lovely shot and thks to your description, Congrats
