Beautiful pic. The layering of colours is good and I like how the purple of the bottom matches that of the top above the heron. Good DoF control. Wonderful work!

Bonjour Henk,
Je hais les hérons maintenant : ils considèrent mon bassin comme leur réfrigérateur et viennent se servir très régulièrement. C'est quand même un bel oiseau et il est intéressant de la voir dans le contexte. C'est une très belle image. Merci

Hello Henk!

A different picture from you, not Tamil Nadu, instead of from Belgium.
I like the soft colours and the warm light of this picture, I just did a small worshop cropping the picture to put the focus more on the Blue Heron and his reflection in the water.

Het toch niet kunnen laten om eentje te plaatsen uit Molsbroek?
Proficiat met uw prachtide nieuwe lens, hij doet het schitterend op uw Mark II, ook uw tweede foto vind ik geslaagd met deze eenden, een nieuwe wereld ontdekt volgens mij, vanop afstand fotograferen, eens totaal iets anders!

behoorlijke close up Henk,
Hier moet toch wel het een en ander te schieten zijn, wat een bereik van dit kanon. prachtig hoor lijkt me echt iets voor bird photography. wat ga je er mee doen Henk? Ja, foto's maken okee, .... Mooie foto goed werk.

Dag Henk,
Bij thuiskomst snel de natuur opgezocht. Mijn favouriete vogel (in het engels dacht ik grey heron) is bij ons een echte stadsvogel geworden en is bijvoorbeeld goed te vinden op de markt bij de viskramen.
Mooi gezocht en gechoten.

Very nicely framed with the pink at top and bottom, Henk. Lots of great color in the reflections. The foreground ducks are well placed. Ideally they would be more in focus, but that might be impossible at 728 mm! Regards, Ken.

Lovely shot of this beautiful bird, a shame you couldn't catch it with the neck extended but at least you have one for your album, I was out this morning trying to photograph one but never got close enough....bigger lens and more stealth required!

Druk op werk, dus weinig tijd voor TE.
Ik zie dat je hem dus al hebt.....en, hoe bevalt hij?
Dit soort glas is zeldzaam, maar de resultaten kunnen prachtig zijn.

Some different taste now! Going towards the different approach here! This is lovely compo with the blue heron. But seeing this I can not understand why this is called blue heron. But seeing the WS, it is clear to me!
