Photographer's Note

When I realized that my plan of visiting Prague is getting real, and I will have just one evening there, I thought, what would be my favourite subject for a blue hour photo. The winner was a spot along the river with the view of the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle and Cathedral on top of the hill. I have found a great viewpoint not too crowded and offering a perfect scene. I was very excited to arrive there just before the blue hour. Much to my surprise I found out that a huge construction crane is obstructing the view to an extent that I decided to look for another spot. Of course, it was quite late already so I opted for the main square of the old town (Staroměstské náměstí). You have seen a photo taken there already. This photo here offers an alternative view, opposite to what you have seen in my previous blue hour photo from Prague. In the left you see the tower of the town hall and in the right St. Nicholas Church.

Modrá hodina means blue hour in Czech.
