Photographer's Note

Suomenlinna (original Swedish name Sveaborg) is a sea fortress built on islands about 4 km southeast of the city center of Helsinki. The architect of fortress was Augustin Ehrensvärd (1710-1772). He was a military architect, and later also the commander of the Swedish Archipelago Fleet and field marshal. Ehrensvärd's burial monument in Sveaborg was designed by king Gustav III of Sweden himself.
