Photographer's Note

The Chateau de Chenonceau is a jewel of Renaissance architecture. Built like a bridge crossing the river Cher, Le "Château des Dames" , in the 16th century, was the object of much jealousy between two rivaling women - Catherine de Medicis the wife of King Henry II, and Diane de Poitier king’s mistress.

PS: I just changed to B&W, cropped a little bit the top and bottom of the picture, and adjusted the brightness and contrast. It is taken from an usual angle, at that time I was not member of the TE to have access to such good advices, critiques one finds in this web site.
