Today I show to you a white stork (Ciconia ciconia) on it's nest. In Alsace the stork is a kind of national symbol. The number of breeding stork couples is increasing.
A children's rhyme in alsatian dialect:
Stork, stork, stibber dine Beï,
Breng d'r Màmma a Bubbala heim,
Eins wu hielt, eins wu làcht,
Eins wu schen ens Haffala màcht.
Stork, stork, stretch your legs,
bring home to mummy a little boy-child,
one that cries, one that laughs,
one that fine goes pottie.

elle est belle cette cigogne. C'est toujours un spectacle grandiose. La lumière es très belle devant ce ciel bleu.

Simple and strong composition makes this picture very strong. I can feel this bird looks so tried hope it is in the mood of drowsing. Well done.
