It's not just something for tourists to come and gawk at. If you live in Paris, the Eiffel tower is a place to play soccer on a pleasant spring evening, or something to walk past on your way home from work.

You may note that the soccer players have arranged themselves into a V shape, like a reflection of the tower, and the businessman has placed his legs at an angle to match the base of the tower. So in some mysterious cosmic way, the locals are deeply influenced by this great structure. ;-)

Hola Ken.
Magnífico lugar y estupenda imagen la que has logrado.
Un original PoV, donde todo lo que aparece es importante para ilustrar un lugar para todo.
Saludos, JL.

Yes, I have noticed that too some years ago. A well filled frame to show your point. I like how the main things are sort of lined up along one of the diagonals. Nice dusk light too, quite tricky to handle so well.

A very interesting contrast between first ground and second ground. I love idea of opposition between work and leisure. and of course Eiffel tower is wonderful too.
have a nice day.

Hi Ken,
How to make something new from this famous location? Well it seems you found one with the line of trees but more important with the people in front. Light left is on the edge of over-exposure but still it looks pretty good in contrast to the much darker parts. A clever composed shot and great timing in using the man in front...great.
Regards, Henk

Hi Ken,
It's a great French postcard.
I think it's a little on the dark side but the composition is great.
Best wishes
Marc

Bonjour, Ken,

Among the myriads of the most boring (not to use the word 'idiotic') shots of M-me Eiffel - this one is like a sip of a fresh air...

What an unconventional approach...
Never v'been to Paris, but somehow I imagined that there is NO such access to the tower...
Somehow - I've seen nothing around but the boulevards of dreams...

A surprising novelty, mate...
Applauding...george

.................

Watch those 'halos'.. (around his legs?)
