Gehry in Germany

So after photos from Switzerland and France, here’s one from the third country the tripoint I visited consists of: Germany. This photo is from the town of Weil am Rhein, a German suburb of the Swiss city of Basel, located on the east bank of the Rhine. The photo shows the Vitra Design Museum, which was founded in 1989 by former Vitra boss Rolf Fehlbaum, son of the founders of this Swiss furniture company. The building was designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, his first building in Europe. It houses one of the largest collections of modern furniture in the world.

After this short Swiss/French/German interruption, it’s time to go back to North America.
