Photographer’s Note

A few days ago my neighbourhood posted a photo what was inspired by one of my pictures... and that very day I decided to go to Greece and do the same.

Then, I went to Hydra and I made a picture similar to this one (and also to this one).
This is my own version and well, I only chose the same subjet but my picture is different (when Oscar copied my photo he made in the same way).

But what is important, Hydra is one of the most beautifuls islands I've ever seen (well, really I only have been in 8 islands... then, forget that last).
The houses, the streets, the sea, its landscape and its food... everything is very nice.
Maybe there are too turism, but this is a gorgeous and beautiful place you cannot miss.

Very nice "end summer" scene ! Perfect pov and nice compo. Good idea to leave that much space for this wonderfull cloudy sky.

Who could resist that strange leaning tree. It's a long way off the seat but you would be under the shade if you sat on it! Good idea to use vertical format to include all those clouds.

vaya fotón, ese cielo increíble... Hace un montón de tiempo que visité Hidra, y desde luego es la isla más bonita que he estado nunca! Una buena foto para ese lugar!

Hydra is one of my favourite island in Greece (4 times in spring , summer or autum and sure we comme back in 2 or 3 years )
you POV is windy ;-) nice colors, good contrast may be better with someone on the chairs

aquest banc està força fotografiat aquí.... El teu punt de vista és més llunyà i ens dóna un angle de visió més ample, amb els dos arbres i un cel fantàsticament decorat amb els núvols, que finalment són els autèntics protagonistes de la composició.

Hola Carlos,
a nice place of Hydra with the bench to be among the two pine trees.I like the right pine tree that lean on the left and its shadow cover almost the bench.The blue sky is an asset to the composition.Well done.

I like this combination, the way the tree is leaning to the other....
The bench is in the middle, maybe hearing the whispering of the tree...

¿Qué tal todo ? Me gusta más ésta . El cielo tiene una expresión muy fuerte y vistosa , los colores intensos y la composición es sencilla pero muy bonita . A ver cuando nos decidimos a pillar un vueling a Atenas y visitar esa isla tan chula y también Poros , Aegina ...

Luminosa composicion vertical con pocos elementos, que conforman un bello resultado, los arboles inclinados por los azotes del viento, el solitario banco y un cielo que por si mismo ya merece una foto, elementos bien elegidos para lograr un estupendo resultado.
