Interior of a Church (to Diane) Photo

Photographer’s Note

I want to dedicate this photo to Diane (clio) because she didn't have time to seen the inside of this church when she visited Naxos and of course to all of you.
The interior is from the little Byzantine church "Panagia Damiotissa", the inside walls are covered with amazing mosaics and frescoes.

EvXaristo para poli! I have some more of regrets now! I would have of return there another day. It is not easy to photograph frescoes because you should not use the flash not to damage them. You took advantage of the light of the window and we perceive some very beautiful faces (that to the right of the window particularly).
It is the very beautiful present which you make me!

Really very interesting all those frescoes. If I ever come back to Naxos I want to visit this remarkable church. I like how you framed the arch and the window, and I think it's just that small window which makes the photo so graphic.
