Thanks to the clear and sunny day, I decided to go around with the car in western Hungary, without planning any destination. Just to take some autumnal pictures. This way I found this fantastic place on my way. In the foreground you can see the very well kept cemetery of the village of Csesznek, located on a hillside in Veszprém county and behind it, the ruins of the medieval castle of Csesznek, built in 1263 by the Baron Jakab Cseszneky. We are here in the Bakony mountain range in western Hungary, which covers about 4,000 square km between Lake Balaton and the Little Alföld.

Zdravo Attila. I do admire your talents in capturing landscapes. The clarity, light and colours are faultless. Szia Attila, it is liek a postcard, but to tell the truth first when I just saw the stamp sized version of the picture I thought there are sheeps in the green field, and not a cemetery, so I was really surprized, let say shockecd when I look at the real sized shot. But the colours, lights, contrast and the composition are absolutely really well catched. TFS, Jalab

Azt hiszem, egy jó őszi képen a színek varázsa uralkodik. Nagyon szép itt a telt zöld, vörös, kék, a hegyoldal ragyogó barna lombjai. Olyan szép és derűs az egész, hogy még a temető látványa is inkább kedves, mint bánatos. (Érdekes, felénk elképzelhetetlen a temető kerítés nélkül. Igaz, mi mindent bekerítünk, ha lehet fallal, hogy idegennek még a pillantása se juthasson be.)

Without surprise, taking into account that is yours, the compo is stunning, with the gate and the lonely red tree nicely balancing the rest of the view, with the graveyards on the diagonal and the ruined castle on the top of the hill. It's indeed a very tranquil and beautiful place. I can't help it comparing it with our own cemeteries (sadly I was in the one of my home town yesterday, where my late father lies, attending the funeral of one of my closest friends' father), which carry a much "heavier" atmosphere.
The light and colours is great, but the sharpness could be better - not bad at all, but not at the level you used us.

már rég jártam Cseszneken, őszintén szólva már nagyon hiányoznak a Bakony tájai, színei.Szóval nagyon nagyon köszönöm ezt a fotót:)
Gyönyörűen szerkesztett kép, ahogy a temető kerítését is belekomponáltad, így valahogy olyan érzésem van , mintha veled együtt most lépnék be én is a temető területére.

Gyönyörű fotó, a kompozició, a színek, a részletek és fény is kifogástalan. A részletek tisztaságáról és a minőségről külön értekezést lehetne írni, a jobb oldalra szerkesztett vöröslő fa akár szimbólikus értelemmel is bírhat, ráadásul csodásan kiemeli a képmélységet. Ma ültem a suliban (asszem épp angol volt) és rád gondoltam, hogy milyen szerencsés voltál, hogy csak úgy nyakad közé kaphattad a lábad azon a gyönyörű napon és kedvedre barangolhattál a Dunántúlon... (angolon esett az eső)

Fantasztikusan megkomponált kép. Minden tökéletes rajta: előtér, főtémák (a temetőt és a várat is annak érzem), háttér. A note is informatív. Talán leheletnyit (de tényleg nagyon kicsit) túlszaturált, egyebekben viszont annyira tetszik, hogy be is jelölöm kedvencemnek. Ez az észak-balatoni táj amúgy is közel áll a szívemhez, idén én is voltam arrafelé.

I agree with you it looks silent the colors are really great that dark red tree added beauty to your setting I feel a bit sad it is graveyard but this is a fact of life . thanks for info about the castle as well
