Captured while strolling around in Western Hungary, on the same day like the previous upload.
We are here in the city of Várpalota located in Veszprém county. The past of Várpalota goes back to ancient times. Its links to the Roman and Avar periods are verified by the burial mounds, tombstones and the Roman artifacts in the outskirts of the town, some of which can be found in the lapidary of Thuri Castle. By the mid 18th century Várpalota had become a flourishing market town. Open cast lignite mining started in 1876 followed by subsurface mining 10 years later. It was a mining town during the Socialist era, but the mines have been closed. The present town was formed in 1951 by the merging of Palota, Inota and Pétfürdő. Although a united town by name, the merging settlements stayed relatively far from each other. Following the changes in the political system, Pétfürdő regained its independence based on the result of a referendum held on the 1st October 1997.
The most renowned sight, the Újlaky Castle is also the symbol of the town. It is often referred to as Thuri Castle, after the name of its famous defending captain Thuri György during the Turkish occupation. In the present Thuri Castle you can find the Museum of Chemistry, which is unique in Europe, and the collection of the memories of coal mining, which provided livelihood for the people for a long time. In the Castle court concerts and theatre performances are held every summer.

Hi Attila,
An original POV through the branches and autumn leaves, but letting us see clearly the nice castle in the BG. Clear colors and sharp details in this good quality picture.

Hello Atila.
A wonderful shot, with those really golden leaves framing the castle so beautifully. The exposure is superb, and the colours so brilliant with the effect of the polariser. The castle can still be clearly viewed despite the intrusion of the branches. A great viewpoint and fine image, with good notes.

Beautiful photo my friend.
The leaves being in the fg and making a natural frame is a really good composition work.
The ODF is perfect too, you managed to keep in focus both fg and bg.
What can I say about the colours?.... beautiful!!

Excellent framing this one to put the focus on this castle. The colours of the leafs create a wonderful foreground full of colours and light, which contrasts well with the upper parts of the photo.
It must be an interesting place and specially good to assist a concert inside the castle or museum.

Riguardo alla foto, cosa dire in più o in meno a quello che già penso di te e della tua arte nella composizione di immagini? Solamente di riuscire, con i pochi mezzi che ho a disposizione, a fare delle foto belle come le tue.
