Bonjour Denis, a lovely high point of view looking down on Minorities.
You give us an excellent impression of how all the buildings are packed in so closely together on the steep hillside. The sea acts as a beautiful frame of the buildings in your composition.

Hello Denis,
Your high vantage point shows how the village seems to hug the side of the rocky cliffs with the buildings rising upwards almost one on top of another. The impression is accentuated by the precise tight framing. The whole is well exposed with excellent colour contrasts and very good sharpness.

Bonjour Denis,

Your high viewpoint has provided you with a beautifully uncluttered and uninterrupted view of this old part of Minori as well as avoiding inclusion of the sky which, I suspect, was probably overly bright and of little interest. It also accentuates the sheer height and steepness of the rocks on which this attractive collection of houses is built.

Beautiful soft light and colours, perfect exposure, a strong composition and exquisite details and sharpness.

Dans le passé, on a construit sur des endroits incroyables.

another wonderful shot from above and far away, its great to see the buildings exteriors, but most of all seeing the Castle walls. Or at least they appear to be Castle-type walls. so photogenic. It would be so interesting to live in such a place, so unique and special. smart compo, attractive light all around, sweet. cheers

That whole Amalfi coast from Sorrento to Salerno is marvellous. I went through this town by bus from Atrani to Salerno. Good colour and sharpness and glad I wasn't driving as some of the roads are quite steep and narrow. Tfs!

You found at excellent viewpoint to capture this scene, clearly revealing how the buildings cling to the side of the cliff with the road at a higher point.
The composition is delightful, the sea and the buildings sharing the frame 50/50 separated on a diagonal.

Some parts of the walls close to the water look almost like military fortification.

Beautiful picture. It is unbelievable how close some houses are standing at the edge. It looks like it wasn't very sunny, but the colours of the houses are beautiful, as well as the turquoise shades of the sea.
