This is not in Italy! Unfortunately, TE does not list Vatican City as a country. It is, indeed, a country. A very tiny one.
Here is a run-of-the-mill spiral case shot. It's nothing you haven't seen before. I'm not sure why I put this up. I don't really know what the general consensus is on shooting these things.
This was really weird to walk down. Not only was it slanted, but it also had steps. So, if one was going down on a wheelchair, you would hear "CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK....." It seems like it would be easy to trip on. |

Not an original idea, but quite well executed. A wider angle lens might have got the whole oval in. Also, you might want to wait for a pleasing arrangement of people on the stairs. There are a number of people cut in half. Still, it's good seeing.
Hello Daniel,
This is a better image. The spiral shape of the stairwell create an interesing eye. The dynamics rely on the shape of the structure and the people moving down and ahead, plus they give scale to the image. Nicer work indeed :-)
Roberto
you could have cropped it further. i love the shot!
