An integral example of hydraulic power cereal mill lies in the nearby Refrontolo.Placed in a charming position, close to a cascade, the so-called Molinetto della Croda (Crag little mill), built in the 17th century, was run by the waters of the stream Lierza.
It was in use till 1953 and has been faithfully restored in the year 1991.

A delightful photo.
I love the contratst between building and the flower baskets and how they work with the plants on the rocky hillside.
We can see in this photo how the mill will work through the repositioning of the water sluice.
Good contrasts and colours.

Very nice ancient water mill, currently not in action since the water is flowing beside the wheell. The top windows with the hanging flowers provide a nice touch of colors on the grey-borwn wall. Nice point of view.

Én amúgy is nagyon vonzódom az európai öreg de szépen felújított házakhoz. Egy ilyen malmocskában, értelemszerűen folyóval a kertben, be tudnám rendezni álmaim házacskáját.

Great technical device. Good capture of falling water on the mill wheel, although I have a feeling that the stream doesn`t run into the wheeel precisely...

This is a very well composed photo, friend.

I like very much house's decoration with the flowers, but also the big wheel that moves the mill.

questo mulinetto sembra quello delle gallette per la colazione.
Bell'esempio di struttura efficiente fino a quando era funzionale, oggi di sicuro un'attrattiva per la sua graziosa struttura. Questo era l'unico Pov possibile? Bella angolazione, comunque.

scusa se ti commento solo ora questa foto, ma guardando per caso nella tua gallery mi son detto: cosa ci fa una mia fotografia nella gallery di Attila? Il 24.09.2007 ho pubblicato esattamente la stessa immagine, presa quasi dallo stesso POV. Mi fa piacere che hai visitato i luoghi dove io abito ( Treviso dista circa 30 Km da Refrontolo ) e spero che la prossima volta che passi dalle mie parti tu possa fermarti per poterti conoscere. Mi farebbe veramente molto piacere.
