[Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo
No long note today :)

Just a small patio near cathedral in the town of Cefalu, Sicilia. It looks so old that I decided that duotone version will be most appropriate.

Crop, BW conversion in Channel Mixer, convert to duotone.

Really love the tone. Maybe step a step right so the lamp on the top not blocking the window.

Really nice tone. I agree on the Lamp, it is in the way.

But for the rest it is really good, especially the steps

Very good shot. The wall around the window looks a little overblurred. However, well done, Dmitry!

A fine B&W job. The composition is nice with diagonals and different geometric elements repeating. The branch is the upper left corner is a distraction but as it is against the wall I think it can be easily cloned out.

Composição bastante interessante, as tonalidades de meias tintas está bastante
correcta !
Bom P. & B.

I like the atmosphere in this place. I think you were right in using BW. I would not have been surprised if you had included an old woman wearing black clothes.

Very nice tone. I like the slight softness here yet it is still sharp enough. The stairs make a nice pattern for the eye to follow to move through and feel this photograph very nicely. I think it would have been nice to have the lamp a little more to the left so to show the entire window. But sometimes that can't be helped. A very nice scene and very well captured.

You did the right decision of turning this into BW. It looks classic this way. I guess if you crop the right part to take out the stairs, the picture would still be okay. Good work though.

Nice BW shot, Dmitry. Nice composition and atmosphere, however I would prefer the window not to partly be hiden behind the light. Anyway, well done.

j'aime bien le taitement noir blanc de cette image, le cadrage aussi, on dirai une peinture. Il y aussi plein de petits détails, que l'on découvre en regardant l'image plus longtemps.

the use of black and white was a good choice. it adds to the old look of the place.

Great photo. i enjoy the black and white. Very soothing shot.

From Sicily myself, so i think its the most beautiful place ever, this is a lovely picture you have there. B/W emphasizes a lot more images like this. Bellissimo!!!
