| To get away from the ice and snow for a change, I dug back into my photographs from the trip to Italy to see some sunshine and on this particular day, we were viewing the city of FLorence from a very nice look-out area above the city. We spent a wonderful day in Florence. |

Dear Joan, this is a wonderful good chosen point of view :) with a great composition dividing the photo in two halfs. Unfortunately the city is a little overexposed, while the foreground is full of details and colours. It happens to my own photos at times, and so far I don't know why this happens. Maybe someone else can jump in how to avoid this effect ?
CVTJan good explain critique, roofs and houses are overexposed, but I think it's big contrast between foreground and background, if you underexposed for one or two points you can make better pic in one of softwares, but your pic is good composition, well motivve . . .
