Perast is situated 12 km west from Kotor and represents probably the best preserved baroque area in the Adriatic. You can see the two artificial isles of Sveti Djordje and Gospa od Skrpjela in the background.
I decided to re-post this photo a couple of months ago because of the poor quality due to the compression. When uploaded it,I was at very beginning of my membership on this site and had a lot of problems with compression without losing quality because I never post processed my photos before.
The special occasion of the RP is that Montenegro (Crna Gora)and Serbia (Srbija)from today are two completely independent countries. Yesterday, the people of Montenegro decided this way through a referendum.
So,good luck for both the countries for their future!

Like you, I wish good luck to both Montenegro and Serbia following the vote. Hopefully, everything will progress peacefully ! The composition is very nice. I particularily like the blueish tone (and Klaudio's comment). The foreground sharpness is notable.

Hi Atilla.
Since I'm coming from ex. Yugoslavia, I'm hoping that all divisions will finish with this referendum and people will start to unite in the united Europe, as soon as possible. I've been to all tese republics and I can say that people are not that different and also foreighners can not differ between them. About the photo, I like the view with the church and the islands behind. The church towers go in line with the towers which makes a pleasant photo.

Hi Attila,
We can see the excellent improvements in here. Lovely view, with the mountains in the back and these historical monuments in foreground, which seemed to be hanged up in a very steep cliff. The islands in the midle of the water are quite interesting and I like to see the steep pasway at right of your composition. Very good work!
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Attila...
Wow... Wonderful scene and beautiful landscape photograph my friend... It's a very actual photograph too... Because, the state referendum commission said the complete preliminary vote tally showed 55.5 percent of voters were in favor of Montenegro's independence...
Anyway, wonderful blue tones and perfect texture on the houses's wall and roofs... The light, clarity, details and POV are perfect too... Of course great shot...
TFS...
Stay well..

Hi Attila
I do remember your earlier upload of this shot...I think this is much better in terms of clarity & sharpness. The view is amazing with the blue contrasting with the red tiles. Szia Attila ! i was trying to compilate information about this brand new country emerged from the sunday referendum . Both the original and the postproccesed version are superb because from my viewpoint what is really deserving is that sensativiness to translate into pixels (in this case) personal perceptions about what's going on in this planet(in any of its multiple displays ) . So the composition , besides being perfect , for my liking , shows a place that utterly stimulates and burst imagination and arises the interest of visiting it . Perfect photo of a very really nice place . Szia !

A very sharp view this time. The composition is very nice, with the church (or churchesn, since there are two towers) and the two little islands in the back ground. The postionning of the mountain in the back is also intersting. I would say that every thing is well balanced here.
All the best,

The weather-beaten houses in the foregorund filling 2/3 of the frame are very impressive, Szili.
The trouble with using noise removal devices is that they flatten the details which, though grainy to look at, still lend character to a land/water/sky feature. Many a time, I have despaired over this situation. You enhance the image to make it look more colourful or sharp and in the process bargain for the noise. But when it comes to the choice between leaving the image as it is or to filter out the noise, you tend to succumb to the latter choice.
In your image, water and the mountain across it have turned flat due to noise removal and that is where the picture goes down a bit in my estimation.
This is a very objective observation and does not under-rate the quality of your otherwise very beautiful picture.
The sky on the left side of the picture is another matter altogether.

Néhány angol mondattal kezdtem, hogy értsék a máltatásomat mások is. Egyébként magyar vagyok, csak német származású. Innen a furcsa név.
Látom, szeretsz utazni Te is, élvezed az utazások boldog korláttalanságát és szabadságát. Tetszenek a képeid, de a belőlük kiolvasható világnézet is. Még sok szép élményt és képet kívánok!
