Nice timing to have the speeding boat under the bridge for this one, Henk. The ensemble of modern-architecture elements is well shown in this frame and the contrasted treatment renders the details in a pleasant way. It falls a bit outside your "accustomed" photographic scope but I like it quite a bit and it is obviously well made.

Dag henk,
Dit zal wel een van de meest gefotografeerd onderwerp geweest zijn van de dag, de gekende brug met een mooi staaltje ingenieurs werk, en vanop het water had u nu de mooiste kans om dergelijke mooie foto te maken.
Zeer scherp maar zeker niet overdreven van kleur, als u begrijp wat ik bedoel.

First, is strange this shot in your gallery. Anyway, I like this urban shot. The bridge and that building at the right look modern, even futuristic.
And I like it.
The composition emphatizes this atmosphere.

It indeed does Henk en een fraaie wide angle van de Zwaan en zijn modern stedelijke omgeving! Het harde contrast past goed bij deze aansprekend gecmponeerde scene. Goed om dit door je lens te zien, Henk, bedankt!

Ik vraag mij af waar al die portretten die je hebt genomen blijven. Hoewel ik moet toegeven dat ik met deze foto ook content ben.
Je hebt de brug erg mooi contrastrijk opgezet.

Yes, the speed boat in this gives it the value. And there's really only so much equipment you want to cart around. I'm still traumatised by the sight on your one handed left hand shot, with no strap, and reaching way out over the boat's rail.

Nice to see your landscapes when presented as here. Good perspective from the boat and of course the speed boat adds a little extra. The deep sturated colours is also in my liking.

I like fantastic sharpness here and superb contrast of all elements. Light is typical for early morning, but I can't see long shadows. What time of day it was captured?

Zeer geslaagde foto van de Erasmusbrug! De POV is prima en geeft niet alleen een mooi gezicht op de brug zelf, maar ook op de gebouwen op de achtergrond. Dat bootje is een leuke extra. Mooi werk!
