It seems like no-one told the person who left the gate open that access was forbidden! An open gate in an image always looks inviting. Here we are invited (despite the sign)to enter the field for a walk past the river with attractive reflections. The village in the background adds to a pretty rural scene.

Salut Christophe, this is actually a common scene from the countryside in Alentejo, Portugal. When I go there and making trekings or cycling tours, I allways get in when the gate is open even if it has a sign that says that is forbidden. Good framing of the gate that gives a nice depth and very pleasant colors.

Good use of the gate to add some visual interest, as well as a small story. The houses visible beyond the field also add a nice sense of place to this, and the lighting is very good also. Well done!

Bonjour Christophe,
Your POV was well chosen to emphasize the foreground gate partially opened and catch the water and reflections on the right. Personally I would have cropped on the left and brought the gate even closer, but that is a matter of preference. I like the clarity of detail, the contrasting hues, and the depth that allows a fine view of the distant buildings on the hillside. Amicalement.

Bonjour, Christophe. Une jolie scène rurale. Les couleurs sont saturées juste à point. Le toit rouge attire tout de suit ele regard. J'aime bien le triangle dans lequel la tour s'inscrit à l'arrière-plan et la barrière ouverte qui invite à poursuivre plus loin.

Malgré la pancarte, ton image donne vraiment envie de pousser la barrière pour aller flaner dans ce pré vers ce beau village. Belle composition et superbe lumière, Christophe!

C'est tres champetre, bucolique et je devine que ce que je vois au fond entre les arbres sont les fameux moutons. Ils sont attentiones ces Neerlandais ils demandent meme de laisser l'entree libre pour que la vue ne soit pas obstruee par des voitures quand les photographes arriveront ;-)
Une vue bien construite et polarisee, meme si je trouve le toit rouge au fond un peu flashy.

Quelle belle compo !
La barrière du premier plan pourrait être l'élément principal de la photo, mais l'ouverture sur le beau village est superbe , une invitation à aller plus loin ... avec des bottes !
