La capital holandesa es una de las capitales más bellas y cuidadas de Europa y una ciudad inusual, ya que tiene todas las ventajas de una ciudad grande - cultura, historia, restaurantes, alojamiento, transportes, entretenimientos - y pocas de sus desventajas: es pequeña, hermosa, relativamente calma y, en parte gracias a sus canales, no tiene exceso de tráfico.

Image rendered too dark. Lack of detail in the shadows, quarter tones, and just too much dark stuff, overall.

The exposure could have been better.

The composition could have been improved also. You pointed the camera down which caused the building lines to splay outward as you look upward along the left side of the image. This is also too bad, because the camera angel brought the left and right edges of the canal out of the frame at precisely the mid-point of the image. That left basically the entire subject matter crammed into the top half of the frame. It also left a lot of...just water, filling up the entire bottom half of the picture.

It would have been better if you had held the camera level and perhaps even lowered the camera closer to the water when you composed this shot.

Although you did post a Photographer's Note, it failed to provide any information that would actually have been useful to viewers who would like to learn about the world through your photography.
